A holiday like no other
We enjoyed our 12 days in beautiful Le Marche. Our stay at Villa in the Vineyard has been just wonderful. Nikki and Roberto have created a haven. Their warmth and kindness towards us has ensured we leave wtih memories of amazing days spent with their guidance of the local area and its many hidden gems. We have been fed from the produce of their land and we have been so inspired by the ethos of organic eco living.

Villa in the Vineyard provides exceptional accommodation – spotlessly clean, comfortable, well-equipped. This area of Italy is a fascinating landscape of vineyards and hilltop villages rich in history. Roberto and Nikki made perfect hosts – endlessly helpful and informative, offering us privacy and sociability when we needed them. We felt as if we'd been welcomed into their home where it was a pleasure to share in their obvious love of the locale. Their app seemed like Italian chic until we tried it – it was a brilliant source of practical help, guidance and information. Just as they were!

We couldn’t have struck luckier with Villa in the Vineyard - right from Nikki and Roberto’s warm welcome on our arrival. The house and facilities were impeccable, and we loved the seemingly endless stream of fresh fruit and veg from the garden. The comprehensive info provided by the new digital app was invaluable - this should be a benchmark for all rental properties; coupled with Roberto’s enthusiastic suggestions it gave immense insights into the local area and its quirks to enhance our stay. All in all a perfect base from which to explore this attractive and fascinating region.

L’accoglienza è stata fenomenale
Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo passato una settimana da sogno nella bellissima proprietà di Roberto e Nikki. La proprietà si trova nelle colline marchigiane con una vista magnifica vista sui i vigneti. La casa è dotata di tutti i comfort, dalla piscina (pulita regolarmente da Roberto) con lettini e amache, alla lavastoviglie in cucina e il Wi-Fi in casa. Oltretutto I proprietari mantengono un orto ricchissimo a cui anche gli ospiti possono accedere quindi avrete a disposizione verdura e frutta senza dover andare al supermercato. Nonostante il soggiorno in piena estate con più di 35 gradi all’esterno, la casa anche senza aria condizionata rimaneva piacevolmente fresca. In termini di location, serve la macchina ma la proprietà rimane a 30/40min dalle maggiori mete turistiche. L’accoglienza è stata fenomenale con una guida dettagliata di posti dove andare, ristoranti/supermercati nelle vicinanze, e attività da poter fare. Roberto e Nikki, seppur presenti nella proprietà e disponibili per qualsiasi domanda, sono stati super discreti- ci sembrava quasi di essere lì da soli!

Einfach ein Traum!
Wir haben eine wundervolle Woche in dem bezaubernden Haus von Roberto und Nikki verbracht. In Wirklichkeit war alles noch schöner als auf den Fotos und die waren ja schon sehr vielversprechend! Es hat an nichts gefehlt, wir wurden verwöhnt mit Obst und Gemüse aus dem riesigen Garten, bekamen die besten Tipps für Restaurants und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Auch die Umgebung ist fantastisch. Wir waren alle begeistert und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

The starry nights were better than any TV!
When Jill and I booked Villa-in-the-Vinyards we expected that every other day we would travel to the coast to have a good beach time. Well, we never did - why leave a perfect place! It had anything one could want, a charming and well stocked apartment, a pool just for ourselves, spacious garden, great views and very pleasant hosts. The surrounding hills all are topped by castle-walled towns and villages that have at least one great restaurant each. The starry nights were better than any TV - one could have watched videos etc., but a last glass of wine on the terrace was always preferable.

Non penso che ci sia un altro posto in quest’area che sia speciale quanto questo
Il nostro soggiorno da Roberto e Nikki è stato veramente fantastico. Il posto è specialissimo, nel mezzo della stupenda campagna delle Marche, tenuto bene, pulitissimo. Ci siamo stati anche con mia nonna (una signora un po’ anziana), e si è trovata molto bene anche lei, per far capire quanto sia agevole e piacevole il posto. Roberto e Nikki sono carinissimi, e ci hanno dato tantissimi consigli su posti dove mangiare, da visitare, dove fare la spesa, eccetera. Tutti i consigli sono stati azzeccati, abbiamo sempre mangiato benissimo e i paesi che ci hanno consigliato di visitare sono stati fantastici. In più, prima di arrivare ci hanno mandato tantissime informazioni utili, sia sulla casa sia sulle misure protettive che avrebbero adottato per il COVID. Ci siamo sentiti davvero sicuri e felici di andare. La casa è stupenda e grande, c’è tanto spazio, così come il giardino. I pavimenti sono rinfrescati in estate, così che la casa rimane fresca tutto il giorno. C’è un bell’orto, tenuto da Roberto, dove crescono tante squisite verdure che si possono andare a raccogliere per poi cucinarle. L’atmosfera è rilassata, c’è sempre silenzio, ed è molto piacevole chiacchierare con Roberto e Nikki. La descrizione di Airbnb corrisponde esattamente alla realtà, ma in caso di dubbi sono stati comunque velocissimi a rispondere. Non penso che ci sia un altro posto in quest’area che sia speciale quanto questo, sotto tutti i punti di vista. Ci vogliamo già tornare, e siamo ripartiti solo poche ore fa!

Villa in the Vineyard is the perfect place to get away from it all
The villa is very comfortable and well equipped, and we were made to feel really welcome. The setting of the villa is fantastic, with amazing views, a wonderful pool, and lots of small villages to explore nearby. We loved having access to the vegetable garden, and drinking wine from a variety of local vineyards. We look forward to returning for more hiking and wine tasting.

Everything had been thought of!
Nikki and Roberto have created a very special place. They were incredibly welcoming and they accommodated our toddler beautifully. Everything had been thought of! We particularly appreciated the considerate welcome pack and the constant supply of fresh organic fruit and vegetables. We visited in September which was the perfect temperature for us but we could equally imagine the apartment being very cosy in the winter and absolutely glorious during the high summer. I have already recommended Villa in the Vineyard to our family and friends.

Villa in the Vineyard stands out as a special experience in our recent vacation
The location and views are spectacular, the apartment spacious, well-appointed, and quiet. I particularly liked staying in a traditional Italian country house that had so many eco features and modern touches. Best of all though are the gracious hosts Nikki and Roberto. We loved the welcome basket filled with delicious food that awaited us. They generously shared extra coffee and their own produce and fruit, gave us a ride to the wine tasting, and provided lots of useful sightseeing advice. Hope we can return!

What a wonderfully cool villa given the hot weather

Second time to stay here and it was just as lovely
Stunning views, a gorgeous garden and a whole heap of toys kindly lent to the children, meant that we had an incredibly relaxing time. The new bathroom is great and the landscaping that Roberto's done over the year has made the place even more gorgeous. Roberto and Nikki, as ever, were very kind and welcoming - really nothing is too much trouble. It's a fabulous place in a great part of the world.

Green is not just a label it's a way of life!
Wow what views! Surely that's the best hillside you could ever gaze at! We love Montelparo and the little bar and the free tennis court. So many great sagras for the evenings and fish restaurants on the coast for lunch. The nice thing about the way the Villa is set up is that Roberto and Nikki are working the land and producing their own fruit and veg, interacting with their neighbours and understanding the place. "Green" is not just a label it's a way of life!

Great place for chilling out
The villa is a traditional style but with modern comforts, and has a fantastic all-round view. The gardens are beautifully maintained. Although the accommodation is an apartment, it feels more like being in a house, just with downstairs bedrooms. We arrived at the villa late in the evening and were most pleased to find a welcome pack with food for breakfast the next day. The local restaurants serve delicious local food. The perfect place for a restful or active mini-break, or longer holiday ! The hosts, Roberto & Nikki were very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

"This was our 9th year on returning to this wonderful apartment. This year we had new owners, Nikki and Roberto, and we must say they gave us such a warm welcome back and to us it always feels like home. The garden Roberto has worked hard on to such a high quality with his gorgeous home grown vegetables. Nikki has used her homely skills and supplied wonderful organic toiletries and beautiful bed linen with gorgeous soft towels. Fantastic views from comfortable apartment
"The villa is very stylish and extremely comfortable, my room was practically soundproofed and the blinds effectively black-out which made for easy sleeping. The views are what made it for me. Absolutely stunning views all around the villa! It's near many small towns which allow you to experience traditional Italian culture (I had my first Italian gelato and hot chocolate - divine!) which the hosts were very helpful in directing us to. Would love to stay again in the summer months!"
