Ascoli Piceno Our favourite city (older than Rome), where you can stroll throught the different piazzas and narrow streets, discovering individual shops and high quality restaurants and cafes. There is also a monthly Sunday antiques market which takes over the whole town.
Macerata This hill-top town is well-worth a visit. The Palazzo Buonaccorsi houses musuems: Museo di Arte Moderna , Museo di Arte Antica and Museo della Carrozza. If you are here in July/August, you must go to the world-famous opera festival in L’Arena Sferisterio.
Servigliano We go regularly to this charming town with its arched entrances and medieval piazza. The market is on Mondays for a taste of Italian life.
Hill-top villages We are surrounded by so many hill-top villages, each with their own character but always with a cafe for a coffee or an icecream! We love Carassai, Ortezzano and Montedinove - you will see some of the best views ever!
